Science Communication

I use social media as a tool for connection, education, and transparency in science. Through platforms like Instagram and Twitter/X, I share the behind-the-scenes reality of fieldwork, research, and conservation—from shark tagging trips and coding workshops to late-night data analysis and grant writing marathons.

My goal is to demystify the scientific process, highlight the work of incredible collaborators, and create space for questions, conversation, and community. I also use these platforms to elevate the voices of underrepresented scientists and bring attention to the environmental challenges—and solutions—we’re seeing in real time.
